Windows 10: location of exe file foe Age of Empires Definitive and how to access

I have been out of click with computer gaming for a few years. Have retired and now have some time for game playing. I purchased the Age of Empires Definitive from the Microsoft Store. I used to use a Belkin N52 keypad with the game, but I haven't been able to find the exe. file to put into the profile to launch the pad. With out the exe location, I can't use the keypad, and it really is easier and more relaxing with the keypad.

Would really appreciate someone guiding this old man as to how to get to the exe file. Also, could use a good game profile for the game, if someone has one. Been a long time since I wrote one.

This issue might happen if the Windows Firewall is blocking the game from connecting to the LAN.

I suggest you to add the Age of Empires the Age of Kings, to the exception list of the Windows Firewall and check if the issue is resolved.

Follow the steps below.

  Press Windows key + X key and select
  Control Panel.
  
• 
  Click on View by in the top right panel and select Small Icons.
  
• 
  Find and click on Windows Firewall.
  
• 
  Click on Allow an app or feature through Windows Firewall in the left panel.
  
• 
  Click on Change Settings, find and check the Age of Empires the Age of Kings box for both
  Public and Private Columns.
  
• 
  If Age of Empires the Age of Kings is not listed, then click on
  Add and select the installed path of the game.

Within Age of Empires: Definitive Edtiion are a set of Accessibility options that determine what aspects of the game are narrated. This is easy to fix:

1.Launch Age of Empires: Definitive Edition.

2.From the main menu, select Options and then Settings.

3.Under the Accessibility header, un-check the Menus, Chat, and Game boxes.

4.Click OK to save your settings.
