  1. Location of files saved/exported by the Phote app on Win 10

I looking to export edited videos created on the Photo App on Windows 10. I can see that multiple people have asked the question, but no one has given a clear answer.

1 I import and edit the video files required.

2 I export for the quality I require.

3 No indication as to where the files are being sent.

4 Carry out the execution to place files into OneDrive

5 States that the transfer is complete, but no files in OneDrive

6 Searched for fiel name in Explorer - no file identified

    7 Photo App CTD

8 Restart the process again with the same results. Even after a clean reboot.

    :)

Error: 0x80070020 The file is in use while exporting a video from Photos app

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

We understand the issue that you are facing while exporting a video. We will need the following information from you to help you further:

    • What happens when you try to save the file with a different name?
    • What are the troubleshooting steps that you have tried?

As per the description in the screenshot, firstly, I would suggest you to close all other instances of Photos app and then try exporting the video.

If that doesn’t help follow the steps mentioned below:

Method 1: Using a different file name

You can try using a different file name and see if that makes a difference.

Method 2: Saving in a different location

I suggest you to try exporting the file in a different location and see if you are able to export it.

Method 3: Creating a new video

If the issue persists, you can try creating the video from scratch and check if that helps.

Cannot save an excel file to any location on C:

It sounds like you have Ransomware Protection turned on in Windows Security. You can check to see if it has recently blocked your Excel. See Option One in this tutorial, at Step 5 click 'Recently blocked apps'. If Excel appears there, add it to the list of allowed apps.
