    Location Services arrow bouncing the centred task bar icons to the left.


    When the Location Services arrow appears briefly in the system icons area, all the centre-justified application icons in the taskbar shift to the left. Is there a way to stop this arrow from appearing apart from turning off all location services? Or can it be fixed? I have seen a previous thread where a moderator tested this and had no problem, but from the screenshots they supplied, you could they tested this on a widescreen monitor. It needs testing on a Windows 11 laptop with 1920 x 1080 screen resolution to successfully replicate the issue.

    When the location services arrow shows up briefly in the system icons area, all the application icons in the taskbar shift to the left. This must be a Windows problem as it occurs consistently across four entirely different computers I'm using. Is there a way to stop this arrow from appearing apart from turning off all location services?

    Thanks for the reply. I'm always careful to keep computers up to date, especially before posting on forums like this about problems. I'm running the latest version of Windows 11 (with a centered task bar).

    I understand what the location arrow is for. I don't find it even slightly useful, but I can tolerate it as long as it's not knocking my taskbar about. Anyway, looking forward to a fix.

    According to your description, I have tested it and found that when the "Location Services" icon appears, it does not cause the application icons in the taskbar to move.

    The "Location Services" icon can alert you that an application is currently calling your location in real time, and for your information security, it will always be there and alert you.

    Could you let me know your windows version information, if it is not the latest version please try to update it to the latest version and see if the problem will appear.
