Windows 10: Location specific loss of internet and BSOD

I use my Windows 10 64-bit HP Elitebook both at home and at work. On the work wifi, I have no connection problems whatsoever. At home the wifi consistently disconnects. Running the network diagnostic resets the wifi adapter, and then I get about 5 minutes of use before it happens again. Everything slows down, task manager shows CPU/Memory at 100%, the cursor becomes unresponsive; eventually I get a blue screen.I have 6 other devices on the home network connected via wifi 1 Windows 10 Desktop, 2 Kindle Fire HDs, 3 Android devices and they never have issues. Since you are still experiening internet connection issue, what we can suggest is for you to try and have the Internet Connections troubleshooter. Kindly try the steps below:

  Right click the
  Start
  menu and select Control Panel.

  Change the
  View by: Categoryinto
  Large icons.
  
• 
  Select and click
  Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Click
  Network and Internet.
  
• 
  Click
  Internet Connections.
  
• 
  Follow the on screen instructions and wait for the troubleshooting to complete.

  After troubleshooting is completed, check the status of the troubleshooter shown on the window.

Random BSOD while browsing internet


BitDefender is nothing special. mwac.sys causes BSODs anywhere.

In that very thread, the suggested action apparently worked.

The storage and network filters of any third party antivirus can cause BSODs. Neither MBAM nor BitDefender is any special. For a regular antivirus, it may be shifted to an alternative; but MBAM has no alternative. So a clean install of the said program is the most feasible first step.
As far as the first step is not failing, it is better to not think for the second step. Because the BSODs are not universal, failure at the first step is not universal; and success at the second step is also not universal.
That is why I posted that my suggestion may work, or may not. Let us see where it goes.
