Windows 10: Location/Timezone changed/in a different area by itself.

I have noticed this problem for 3 days already and its really frustrating because my time zone keeps getting set to Arizona even though I don't live there or have a VPN enabled. Every single time I start up my PC it constantly switches back to Arizona and sometimes its my location Illinois and it just switches randomly and its super annoying. I have tried every single solution I could find. My BIOS is normal and I restarted network settings and synchronized windows time and I couldn't find a solution why because I cant figure out why its doing this please help. It changes my actual location

Caracas Timezone change

Try changing the Timezone to a different zone then go back to your timezone to see if it works.

For us to properly isolate the issue with changing the timezone, we would like to know the following:

• Were there any changes made on your computer prior to the issue (e.g., updates, software installation)?
• What is the exact error message that you are getting?
• To make sure that we have not missed on anything, what troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

As an initial resolution, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

• In the search box, type in cmd. You'll see Command Prompt listed.
  Right-click and select Run as Administrator.
• Type tzutil /l to see the list of all time zones.
• Once you have found your time zone, copy the description that is on the second line. Example:
  
  (UTC-06:00) Central Time (US & Canada)
  
  Central Standard Time <---- copy
  
• Afterwards, type tzutil /s "paste the time zone here". Like this:
  
  tzutil /s "Central Standard Time" (make sure to include the quotations!); then, Enter.
  
• Exit the Command Prompt, and then go to your time settings.

Windows location and timezone incorrect

Thanks I-Cat, unfortunately manually setting the time or timezone is not an option. I had brought up setting the timezone via group policy but this was rejected as we have users that travel internationally and it needs to be set automatically.

The location and locale are both set to Australia

NTP is working and the time is correct when set to the correct timezone. NTP has no bearing on timezone.

Also we have the timezone set to +8utc in DHCP but this makes no difference, windows prefers using the location.
