Windows 10: Lock a Bitlocker Drive without Admin Rights

The end-goal is a way to lock a BitLocker encrypted drive that has auto-unlock off and is secured with admin rights.The ideal workflow:1. The user boots up and has a locked drive -> No problem, disable auto unlock and set a password2. I suggest you to perform below mentioned steps to disable BitLocker.

To disable BitLocker I would suggest you try the following steps and see if it helps.

• 
  Press Windows key + X and click on
  Control Panel.
  
• 
  Change View by from Category
  to Large Icons/Small Icons.
  
• 
  Click on BitLocker Drive Encryption and click on
  Turn BitLocker Off.
  
• 
  Follow on screen instructions. Click on Decrypt the Drive
  when the message appears.

LOST ADMIN RIGHTS BUT BITLOCKER IS ON

Hello,

I purchased in JUNE hp laptop with Windows 10 on it. I never used bitlocker and it is a personnal laptop so no organization (school, work) is involved.

One day my only account lost its admin rights. It is now a guest account.

When I tried to reboot in safe mode A bitlocker recovery key was asked.

I logged on my microsoft account: on my device it says that bitlocker in on but I don't have the key. It says that an administrator must have it. But it is a personnal computer so I don't get it. (It was new when I bought it).

I called the support and they told me to reinstall windows which I tried but it is not possible because of the bitlocker recovery key.

So to sum up : I no longer have admin right and my C drive is blocked by bitlocker.

I still have access to my file but I can't fix my problem..

admin rights keep disappearing!?!!

Hi guys,

I am actually having a problem at work that our IT department hasn't been able to figure out. I am supposed to be a member of the admin group. We are on a domain. The problem is that everytime I reboot the computer I loose my admin rights(no longer in the administrator group) and just become a normal user again. I have tried googling this and didn't get to many results.
I believe IT is just giving me local admin rights, not admin rights for the whole domain.

Any suggestions?

EDIT: It is on Windows XP Pro.
