Windows 10: Lock app windows on specific monitors

Hello everyone,

I have 3 monitors connected (Asus xg32vq, Dell u2311h and Samsung TV 43" 4k).

When I'm not watching smth on TV, I switch it completely off by disabling the monitor in windows settings (extended desktop -> disconnected). Also, when I watch smth on TV, I power off the other 2 monitors. Anyway, when I do either of the 2, app windows change positions. How can I lock specific windows to specific monitors?

Also, when I power on the Asus one (headphone jack in i/o included), I hear the new device connected and discord identifies that a new audio source is connected. How can I switch that port off?

Lock a specific app

Is there a way to lock the settings app somehow?.. like making it prompt a pin/password or something when opening to access

Windows is locked with a pin and a password (signed into ms account) already.. but i need a way to lock a specific app (in this case i want to lock settings (with control panel as well if required..))

In this case, we would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and check.

1. Launch Skype.
2. Drag the Skype Window to secondary monitor.
3. Resize the window as per your preference.
4. Maximize the Window and Restore Down.
5. Then close the skype window in secondary monitor.
6. Then try re-launching and check if the issue resolves.
