Windows 10: lock screen: how much personalization?

I have a tablet PC that I have framed and hung in the kitchen, mostly to replace an aging Sonos controller. Now I would like lock screen to display some useful things such as a detailed weather forecast graph. I do not know, however, how far one can push the "personalization" of the lock screen (from what I understand, not very far*Mad).

The best thing by far would be to force the lock screen to behave like a browser, pointing to a webpage that uses jQuery (or similar) to pull and update any content. Is there a way to do that? I suspect that the answer is "no", but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Windows Lock screen not changing using keyboard after Windows 10 update

I have also had this issue in Windows 10 Pro, but the resolution steps do not work for me!

I would very much like to disable the lock screen, but keep the login screen. Setting "Do not display the lock screen" to Enabled has absolutely no effect. I even tried disabling the lock screen in the registry, but that doesn't work either.

How about adding a check box to the lock screen in the next Windows update that gives us the option to disable the lock screen? This problem is really annoying.
