Windows 10: Lock screen log in problem must use forgotten Microsoft account password

Unbeknownst to me Microsoft decided to change my lockscreen password to be the Microsoft account password of the Microsoft account I never use. I set up my Windows 10 using my business email that I linked to my personal email except I no longer pay for my domain name or hosting which means the email that is associated to my Windows 10 makes it so any email sent to that email will no longer go to my personal email therefore even if I could change my Microsoft account password I cannot receive the verification code Microsoft would send. Even going to command prompt and advanced options if I click on forgot password it only gives me the option to have a code sent to the email associated with my computer that I no longer have access to. I cannot get over how many things are wrong with this scenario and how unnecessarily difficult Microsoft has made accessing my own laptop or even their account by not providing better options to verify myself. Not to mention they gave me no warning that they were going to decide to link my lock screen login password to the Microsoft account password of an account I never use or warn me to recall said password, or to remove needing a log in for my laptop, nor give me the option to opt of such an idea.

Log in requires password

Since a recent update the PC now requires a password to log in.

I have tried Windows Key - netplwiz and unchecked "users must use password...."

There are no other users shown in the listing.

I use my Windows account as my log in which is also the administrator account.

Also on restart the lock screen shows - pretty picture and no taskbar. I have to press spacebar to release that and then it shows my account and requires a password input.

Thanks for the Quick response. I will eventually use the suggestions you have given. But for the present I'd like to continue logging into my PC with my PIN. My concern is more with recovering my Widows local user login password, which seems not possible.
However I have a question to ask MS which I personally think as valid: when both a Password and a PIN are equally valid for successfully logging in to Windows local admin account why only the Password is given credence in the matter of resetting of the login
Password or creating a password recovery disc? Will MS please respond? Thank you.
