Windows 10: Lock Screen loop

Discus and support Lock Screen loop in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; When I go and unlock my laptop Lenovo IdeaPad 120S-14IAP it says: “Something happened and your PIN isn’t available.     Lock Screen loop


    When I go and unlock my laptop Lenovo IdeaPad 120S-14IAP it says: “Something happened and your PIN isn’t available. Click to set up your PIN again”. When I press “Set up my PIN” it goes back to the Lock Screen and I’m stuck in that loop. I tried to fix it by not deleting my files with BIOS setup and diagnostic tools but I couldn’t find anything, is there a solution without deleting my files?

    Lock screen problem in Win 10

    Hi Graham,

    Changing some settings on your computer may help resolve. Follow the steps below to show lock screen background picture on the sign-in screen:

    • Open Settings.
    • Click Personalization, then Lock screen.
    • Turn ON Show lock screen background picture on the sign-in screen switch.
    • Lock your computer to test.

    Lock screen woes

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting on Microsoft Community.

    I would suggest you to follow the below steps to try resolving the issue.

    Setting the timeout for Lock Screen

    • Press Windows + I and select personalization.
    • Select Lock screen.

    • Select the Screen Timeout setting.
    • Select the time of timeout you need and check.

    You can use your own image of any background and just go to settings/personalize/lock screen and click on browse as in the image below. It should make whatever picture you use as the Lock Screen
