Windows 10: Lock Screen PIN corrupted

Win 10 boots up to lock screen shows "Something happened and your PIN isn't available. Click to set up your pin again. Set up my pin" Set up my pin doesn't work, and I can't get past this screen. PLEASE help me with how to fix this problem. I can boot to DOS screen with USB update software but can't do reinstall. Is there something I could change in Reg file to correct problem?

Lock screen automatically with password

To have a better view on this concern, are you referring with Lock Screen timeout? If so, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

• Click on Start menu.
• Go to Settings.
• Click on Accounts.
• Under Sign-in options, click on Lock screen.
• Go to Screen timeout settings.
• Change the value under Screen.

Also, no need to create a pin code since you already have your Microsoft account password. You can sign in using your account.

Setting the timeout for Lock Screen

• Press Windows + I and select personalization.
  
• Select Lock screen.
  
  
• Select the Screen Timeout setting.
  
• Select the time of timeout you need and check.
