Windows 10: Lock Screen/Screen Timeout/Screen Saver Ignore Settings - Fix?

Windows 11 - Lenovo Thinkpad - All on the latest software releaseLock Screen and sleep are set to kick in after 15 minutes on battery and plugged in the power & battery settings.Screen saver revolving "windows" is set to kick in after 5 minutes - the option to have to log in when resuming is NOT checked.I've followed the rabbit trail in screen saver settings to the power settings - all match the above settingsHowever, after 1-minute, the lock screen kicks in, and I need to log back into my laptop. To help you set your screen configuration properly, kindly follow these steps:

• Press Windows + I.
  
• Under Personalization, select Lock screen.
  
• Go to Screen timeout settings.
  
• Set your desired screen saver timeout duration under the Screen
  option.

How to set different values for screen timeout and screen lock?

Let's go back to this.. no, it did not work. Meaning now the screen locks turns on but not at an arbitrary number I set it to, like 10 minutes (600 seconds) but exactly when the screen saver turns on, the screen lock turns on at the same time.
There is no delay between the two.

The value that I set in the registry, here,

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System\InactivityTimeoutSecs =600
is ignored.

 

Screen Saver Settings / Lock Screen Freeze

when i have tapped and held on background screen.. attempting to find and use a screen saver I see nothing. I have found personalize and the list there which has Colors etc and Lock Screen. Lock Screen was the suggested link to find the Screen Saver but
if i click / tap it it freezes . This is a Dell Inspiron 15 7000 2 in 1 Laptop with 4 gig ram and a half Tera of drive. Brand New as of yesterday. It seems like a bug. I cant access Screen Saver easily at all. Not sure why Microsoft would change such a common
feature and make it so difficult to find or how to fix this irritating bug. Can you help me ?
