    Lock Screen - Startup Repair Issue on Windows Tablet


    Hi,I need some help. My father's* Windows tablet no longer logs in when the pin is entered. I'm told:- "Your credentials could not be verified."- "Something went wrong and your PIN isn't available status: 0xc000006d, substatus: 0x0. Click to set up your PIN again."After clicking the option to set up a new PIN, I'm told:"The User Profile Service service failed the sign-in.User profile cannot be loaded."Which brings me back to the login screen.I then enter "Automatic Repair" to try to dig deeper into the problem, but I'm told:"Automatic Repair couldn't repair your PC...Log file: C:\WINDOWS\Sys

    Hi Eugen,

    As you have already tried to update the driver and changed the settings, I suggest you perform a startup repair by following the steps below and check if it helps.

    • In the Lock screen, press/hold the shift key and click on power icon>restart.
    • Click on Troubleshoot>Advanced Options>Startup Repair and follow the prompts to start the Startup Repair.

    After the Startup Repair is complete, check for the status.
