Windows 10: LockApp.exe dies, log says MoAppHangXProc not available

This has happened several times, running the latest windows 10 on a fairly powerful Dell. I come back from a break and the computer won't wake up. Monitor is still getting signal but no display. F5 and ctrl-alt-del don't work. Check all connections and power-cycle the monitor, nothing. Force a reboot and check Reliability History and see that "LockApp.exe Stopped responding and was closed." This is shown twice, about 2 minutes apart. I check the event log and before each LockApp failure is another error, "MoAppHangXProc not available". It looks like MoAppHangXProc is not installed or f

I have Installed WIN10 for a couple of weeks ago, and suddenly Microsoft Groove Music, Microsoft App Store and Microsoft Internet Explorer just crashing. I got this Error : MoAppHangXProc.

Eventhough the Error is on German I hope someone can Help me (I just post one)

AdwCleaner: set to put Logs in folder with exe?

Thanks, SoFine. That's an interesting idea.

I'd have to put a long Pause in it, to let the executable finish, then the next two steps would move the files and then delete the empty folder.

The more I consider it, the more I conclude that I'll just run the program (from my Tools drive) periodically, read the results, and then dump the C:\ folder. As with most things in life, it's no big deal.

Decided to try your suggestion. This worked perfectly: Log goes in the Logs folder in the same Tools drive folder as the executable, and the C:\AdwCleaner folder is deleted when it exists.

Found the info I needed by entering "D:\Malware Tools\AdwCleaner\AdwCleaner.exe" /?

LogViewer for GPU-Z available !

I tried Nvidia Inspector (which is very close to GPU-Z), but it logs with a different column delimiter. With the following steps you can "convert" a Nvidia Inspector logfile into a GPU-Z logfile:

• open Nvidia Inspector logfile (typically "NVIDIA_Inspector-MonitoringLog_....csv") in a good text-editor (UltraEdit ,...)
• find/replace column delimiter: find all semicolon ';' and replace them with comma ',' (in a good text editor you can do this in one step "replace all")
• save changed logfile with extension ".txt"

Now you can open the saved logfile as a "GPU-Z logfile" !
