Windows 10: Locked account and not showing in "Other Users"

Hi.I have a PC that i use like a NAS. I have created multiple local accounts via Settings > Account > Other users and configured SMB sharing of various folders. It all worked fine.However a few days ago i tried to access a share from a Mac. I think i put the wrong password a few times and my user was locked.I went in the Other Users settings and the account was not there anymore. So i tried opening netplwiz and there i could see my account. I changed the password and it "unlocked" the account. I could now access as usual the SMB share and the account showed back in Settings > Other Us

Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

 

Forum users with Hotmail/Outlook/Exchange account

The two-step verification emails show up in my inbox but I added a rule to mark the domain name safe a long time ago (verified that "techpowerup.com" is still in the safe sender list).

 

User Account Keeps locking

Our domain policy is set to lock an account after 5 incorrect attempts.

I have cleared all the temp files, cached passwords, temp files etc.

Nothing useful showing in the users or PDC logs.
