Windows 10: Locked Computer and Screensaver

I accidentally locked the wrong computer, I locked my desktop. Also deleted it from MS 365 account. My desktop has a screensaver protected by a PIN. I can't get past the PIN because the computer is locked. I have rebooted several times, unplugged it twice. Is there a way to get past the PIN. In MS 365 is shows in my user account that I am ADMIN, but there is no admin button or link to allow me to add the device back, or to unlock the device. Any help is appreciated! Vickie

I would suggest you to try the following steps and check if that helps.

• Go to the folder C:\Windows\System32 and sort by file type.
• Look for the screensaver file type (.scr).
• Find the file scrnsave.scr(you can choose any of the screensavers).
• Right click and select send to>desktop (create shortcut). The shortcut on my attachment, but when i click on it my screen goes off and on and nothing else.

If the screensavers you want to use are only available in the Webshots program, then the program should be reloaded or reinstalled (if it's uninstalled) in order to use it as those screensavers or photos are not saved on your computer.

If you don't want to use the generic screensavers available in the Screen Saver Settings, you may use your own photos as screensavers. Just make sure to put all the photos in your Picture folder. To enable it, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to Settings > Personalization > Lock screen > Screen saver settings.
   
2. Click the dropdown under screen saver and set it to Photos.
3. Click the Settings option beside it and select the Picture
   folder where the photos are saved.
4. Click Apply, then OK.

Screensaver Issues After the Latest Update

Hello,

Outdated drivers can be a possible reason why you cannot exit your screensaver when you press the space bar. To better assist you, we need the answers to the following questions:

• Do you receive any error messages when you are trying to exit the screensaver?
• Have you tried updating your graphic's card driver?

In the meantime, we suggest setting your screensaver to use images from the Photo app
instead of the Windows Live Photo Gallery and see if the issue still persist. To do this, simply follow the steps below:

• Click the Start button and type Settings
  on the search box. Click on the first option.
• Select Personalization.
• Click on Lock screen.
