Windows 10: locked out from unlinked device

Hi, I need help badly. I've unlinked a laptop that I am to give away and then I've tried to log on the laptop with my PIN and delete my user. Unfortunately, I should have done it the other way around I now realize: first delete user and then unlink device. As things stand now, I'm locked out from my give-away laptop. My PIN and password are not recognized. I've tried resetting my password from my Microsoft account, but the unlinked laptop does not recognize the new password. I cannot re-link the laptop from the laptop itself since I have absolute no access to the system, just the log in window

Unlink an old android phone from my pc

I go thru the suggested steps: Start - Settings - Phone - Unlink this PC.

When I first open the "your phone" screen the old phone is listed. Not sure if the phone listed is suppose to be selectable or not, but my is not. When I select "Unlink this PC" the phone listed is removed. When I select "Add Phone" the old phone still
shows. I have removed the old phone from my Microsoft Account. I have rebooted after unlink this pc but I still cannot remove my old phone.

Locked PC and unlinking account?

Hey guys I'm just wondering, if I lock my PC that is attached to my Microsoft account and I am the administrator and then I unlink that device from my account what will happen? will anyone still be able to sign into the PC even though it was locked with
previously?
