Windows 10: Locked out of laptop because I can't access my Windows account.

I'm locked out of my laptop because I can't remember my sign in details for the Microsoft account that I used when I created the sign in. I can't access the Microsoft account either, because I'm pretty sure I deleted it. I also can't retrieve the account because I am not able to verify it. I don't have enough information to answer all the security questions in order to complete the verification process.

All you need is a Windows 10 installation USB in order to use the procedure given in post #2.

If you do not have one of them then you will need to take your computer to somebody who does.

The procedure does not entail any use of the MSAccount reset / old mobile number / email reset.

Some more info would be useful in order for someone to help you. For a start you only list PC Desktop and Windows 10, but you are talking about a laptop, so what make and model of laptop, what version of Windows (home or pro) and build (1903, 1909 etc). What you were doing when these messages appeared.
Now, have you tried to access your MS account since the laptop was "locked", I believe there is still an option to remote lock a device should it be stolen, if you cannot access your MS account it is possible it has been taken over and someone else has activated the device lock.
But that is just a wild guess based on little info.

 

LAPTOP is not accessible ..... Access is denied.

I am trying to share a folder on a LAPTOP. I have other a number of other systems that have folders Shared and they work fine, but with this one I get the error "LAPTOP is not accessible ..... Access is denied." when I try to access it from a different Win10 system. So I went thru the entire "How to Share Files and Folders Over a Network in Windows 10" tutorial step by step. File and Print Sharing is enabled, SMB1.0 client & server are running, and Everyone has Full Access to the Share. Still get the error. I have tried it with the Network Public and Private, with the same result. Any suggestions ?
