Windows 10: Locked out of laptop

I have an old laptop about 4-5 yrs, one of those that required a login password before using thank God they don't anymore. I haven't used it in at least 2 yrs, and I cannot remember the password. I've tried everything I can think of. I want to either sell this laptop for very cheap or give it to someone who can use it for word processing. How can I get back in, though, if I cannot remember my password? I've already reset my Microsoft acct password online, but that doesn't work for my laptop either.Thanks

PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval

• Install system in case
  • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
• Turn on PC
• setup HDD
• run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
  • run realtemp at the same time

• While in Prime95 test
  • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
  • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
  • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!

What do you guys think??

 

Laptop overclocking adventures

hey guys I'm trying to get clockgen to work on my laptop but can't get any of the plls to work, can you please post like exactly what steps I need to take to test each pll to see if it works? my specs are listed to the left
