  1. Locked out of Microsoft on my computer

I have been locked out of my Microsoft on my computer. Online account works fine, but Cortana and Outlook and other features requiring my filling in a box - such as asking Cortana to find something - don't work. I have a blinking icon in the box, but when I type nothing happens. I couldn't even fill out a password on my wireless access at a new address.

I receive the following message frequently, "Microsoft Account Problem - We need to fix your Microsoft account (most likely your password changed). Select here to fix it in shared settings." When I go to that spot on my computer it asks for a password. The cursor blinks in the box but it won't let me type anything in!

I have let them call me on the phone number listed with a code, but I can't type the code in! What got turned off?

    Thank you.

    :)
