    I recently updated to Windows 11. I received messages that I was using a new computer - same one I have used for about 8 years so I ignored them and updated my security settings as advised. For some reason I was locked out of windows and now can't use my computer. I bought my computer and microsoft products years ago. Since that time I have retired from my job, moved, acquired a new gmail account, and my tds account was inactivated when I moved. Windows appears to be linked to my tds address that I can't access. I followed all prompts to recover my account. I was given pass codes that didn

    Thank you for updating me HA.111

    Here is the step to remove that old email address.

    Start typing an email address into the “To” field. As soon as you see the old email address being recommended as one of the potential candidates, use the down arrow key to scroll through the list of suggestions. Once you highlight the old email address, type the delete key. In many cases, this will actually remove the entry not only from the current list of suggestions but from future suggestions as well. You may even find that as you mouse over the drop-down list the highlighted item will have an “x” to explicitly allow you to delete it.

    Just do this step and your good to go.

    Since version 7 of the world`s most popular web browser - Microsoft Internet Explorer was silently renamed to Windows Internet Explorer.Such a step from Microsoft is not a surprise since Internet Explorer is part of the Windows operation system for a long time.Obviously Microsoft corp. wants to state that Internet Explorer is already considered as a part of Windows and not as an external browser (remember the IE and WMP law issues last year!?).

    My local ISP was bought by Vodaphone, I am afraid that sooner or later my decades old email service will be shut down too.
