Locked out of my iTunes folder

I had to reset my iPhone for some troubleshooting and while it reloads all of the apps it does not reload your music. You have to connect to iTunes to reload your music. I tried to launch iTunes and it tells me one of the files is locked or I don't have permission. I try to open the folder and it tells me I no longer own the folder. In order to change it I have to go into advanced security settings and click the change button. I do so and it proceeds to cascade the change but it can't. I would have to do this for every subfolder of a subfolder of a subfolder to straighten it out. Is there an e

  2. Folder locked and dissapeared after unlock

Well here's something i found on this:

Lost my files in Folder Lock

But it doesn't work here , i don't have that folder.

Can somebody help me searching for a solution , tnx.

    EDIT:

I did that and that's when the folder just disappeared but the data is still there, the program is very confusing about restoring files , it says that "files should become unlocked automatically" ... so where the heck are manual unlocking instructions.

It's not an encrypt , it's just a password lock , so data is all open. The problem is, i would get like 225 GB of individual files off the HDD recovery , i just want the harder way of accessing the folder but getting the folder structure , where can i find the time to SORT 220 GB of data omg.

iTunes won't connect to my iTunes Media directory

    1. Uninstall iTunes completely. (I suggest using Geek Uninstaller. In my experience this does a good job of clearing remnants.)
    2. Download and install latest iTunes from Apple, not Windows Store (Never use the Windows Store for iTunes.)
    3. Check whether the Apple version allows you to point to your old media store.

    Hope this helps...
