Windows 10: Locked out of my latop due to "sign in option is disabled ..."

Suddenly I was confronted with a "sign-in option is disabled because of failed sign-in attempts or repeated shutdowns..." message on my latop. This affects both a child account and the administrator account on that device. The sign-in option set up and perfectly working up to this day is via PIN. The message advices me to either chose a different sign-in option or to wait at least 2 hours. The latter did not work and the for the former there is simply no option/button for me on the screen to do so. I followed some advice on MS FAQ pages and locked the computer remotely using my MS account. W

Best method to disable Vista/Vista 64 driver signing?

It's not a matter of "try". The bcdedit command is not fully consistent and reliable for some folks.

So far, to me, it seems the third choice always locks (disables) the driver signing. If that is the case for anyone who uses it, then that would suggest it is the more reliable and consistent method of the ones I've listed, anyway.

Windows 10 spotlight lock screen wallpaper is not present in sign in screen. Plz. Let me know the remedy

It's possible that the option to show a background picture on your sign-in screen is disabled that's why
Windows Spotlight is not showing there. To provide the best solution to the issue, we'd like to isolate it first by asking a few questions:

Enable or Disable Lock Screen in Windows 10  

I just tested on my system with this below set, and I don't see the lock screen anymore or have to sign in.

• Disabled lock screen using OPTION THREE on first page.
• Set require sign-in on wakeup to "Never".
• Set Windows to automatically sign in to my account at startup.
• Unchecked "On resume, display logon screen" for screen saver.
