Windows 10: Locked out of Windows 10 after BIOS update

My HP Envy 17 laptop did a BIOS update, and afterwards, Windows no longer remembered my facial recognition, nor my PIN for signing into Windows 10. I tried signing in using "password entry" but it does not recognize my Microsoft account password.I tried doing a "Shift-Restart" to get to the troubleshooting startup screen so I could try to go back to the Restore Point before the BIOS update, but to go back to the Restore Point, it asks for a password, and again, my Microsoft account password does not work. It does not offer any option for "forgot my password"How can I get logged back into W

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
