Windows 10: Locked out of work PC. Any way to update secondary security email other than waiting...

2 days of customer support and Microsoft says I have to wait 30 days to use my work PC!!!After a CPU change Microsoft said my pin was no longer valid, got it.Signed into Microsoft account to update, asked for secondary email authorization. didn't even know one was set up, my bad.Never used secondary account, missed password 3 times, locked account. Now have password but account is lockedNo information for there little recovery tool because, the account was not used for anything. Tried to update secondary account on main email account, now locked out for 30 days.Microsoft support says wait a m

Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

Steps to confirm issue:

• Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
• Secondary drive not visible in device manager
• Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

• Uninstall 1909 update

Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.

30 day wait for secondary email change.

My laptop failed to start after a Windows update. I was then prompted for a 42 digit recovery key, which I had no idea about. I was advised to sign into my Microsoft account, which I had never used and didn't want. I eventually found my account email but had no idea what the password was. I had to supply a ridiculous amount of personal questions and was then sent a link enabling me to change my password.

In my MS account I clicked on my device and the bitlocker recovery key link and it wanted to send an email to my secondary account, not my main one. the secondary account is one I haven't used for many years. I found a link to change the email to a current one and was told to wait 30 days! How utterly ridiculous is that? I can't wait 30 minutes to repair my laptop, that was ruined by a Microsoft update in the first place, never mind 30 days. Plus, I already went through all the personal details that they asked for to prove it was me but that is not good enough.

They say that this is to stop hackers, news for you Microsoft! A hacker is more likely to wait 30 days than the average user!
