Windows 10: Locked out: PIN will not work until PW entered. PW not recognized.

Due to recurring issues with updates, I partially reset my PC kept my files, restored to original set up. This was a last resort after following about 6-7 different methods of trying to correct the issue. After this was done, my PIN would not work until I entered my PW but he computer is not recognizing my PW. It says -Welcome- and the dots spin then it says incorrect PW. According to my PW list, it is my correct PW. How do I get back into my PC? Input of my PIN gets me the message that says I have to use my PW once then my PIN will work after that.Trying to input my PW after the first almo

Bitlock PW does not work anymore

Hi there, first, I am German, not the most technical person and you are my last chance, to rescue some very important data. So excuses my English and thanks a lot for any attempt to help me.Here the problem: After connecting my HDD with a friend’s computer, it was automatically locked by Bitlocker. At first no Problem at all, because my friend could name me the PW his computer has given my HDD. This worked out well for 3-4 month. However, one day, I entered the PW and Bitlocker told me, that it is wrong. However, it was not. I copied it; I entered it manually... many, many, many times. It did never work. Of course, my friend looked again in his online PW list, if something changed, but it did not.What I find very interesting, if I enter the correct password, Bitlocker says it is wrong. If I change only one of the 48 numbers, it tells me, one number is wrong. If I change it back, its again totally wrong.Any ideas what might help? Would be great, if somebody has a solution. Otherwise, four TB of data are lost.Thanks’ a lot!

 

Pin and PW not working , computer in airplane mode

I have read EVERY thread and tried every tutorial given by Microsoft on them amd I cannot get into my computer.

Left for a meeting and it was updating

-Come back and it says "Something happened and your pin isnt available. Click to set up your pin again"

-click setup pin again amd it says I need to download an app from the app store, click yes. Pop up flashes off and we are back to sign in screen.

-go to sign in with password, tells me password is wrong.... it's the same as it's been for years. Try it a dozen times making sure caps is off etc. No dice

-click forgot my pw, says just a moment and flashes back to sign in screen

-go on my phone and sign into my Microsoft account (so clearly the pw was right....) change pw

-still cannot sign in and realize the comp isndisplaying airplane mode w no other option. I have a hardwired fiber line not wifi.

-unplug ethernet replay after restart etc etc

-tried every advanced option scenario and ALL of them ask for pw at some pt

-tried boot media repair comp, ASKS FOR PW

-tried boot media command prompt since advanced options wont do cp without password, none of the tutorials work all the resets say access denied

I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO

I cant do anything about my pw since it's in airplane mode and I CANNOT wipe this computer i have tons of files i cannot lose.

This is insane. Please HELP ME

I have a network password but this doesnt' work even though it worked before.

I changed the pw thro M/S site but it doesn't accept the new pw. Is there a difference b/t M/S pw and Windows Security pw?

How do I set a new Windows Security pw?

'Public Folder Sharing' is off but I guess this is not relevant
