  1. Locked solid state disk

Turned on my desktop using Windows 10 pro. Came up fine. Came back several hours later to use the computer but was unresponsive and showing a black screen. I turned it off and then turned it back on again. The screen is displaying a blue box asking to select the HDD. It displays 2 drives a Toshiba drive which is unlocked and a solid state drive which is locked. It will only let me select the locked drive. When I select that drive it asks for a user password. It is not my Microsoft account password. Bitlocker is not being used and there is no key. I have no idea what this password is.

    :)

Internal Solid state disk (SSD) ?

According to this guys definition... http://windowsitpro.com/article/art...state-disks-ssds-and-why-is-it-important.html ...it seems that TRIM would wear out the drive faster because it has to rewrite the the whole block just to remove deleted information. I wonder if SSDs were one of those technologies where corporate said "oops" and needed to come out with something to slow it down and wear it out faster but just tell you it's a benifit cause sheep will eat anything.

Unable to Install Sea Of Thieves on Solid State Drive

I had Sea of Thieves installed on my harddrive, but the load times were slow so I wanted to switch it to my solid state drive. I took the following steps.

    • Uninstalled Sea of Thieves
    • Navigated to the microsoft store and selected install
    • Selected C: drive (which is my ssd) as the install location
    • After completing the download I get the error: "Couldn't install. We'll retry shortly".
I've attempted this twice with no luck. It's a large download so it takes a long time to retry, I'm hoping for an easy resolution to get this installed on my C: drive.

    Thank you,

    Josh
