Windows 10: locking certain apps with password

    locking certain apps with password


    so i still live with my ex (sounds fun right? yeah no, it definitely isnt sometimes) and there has been a couple of occasions so far where she sneaks onto my laptop before it sleeps and digs through my text messages via the Your Phone app. I want to put an end to that by using an 3rd party app locker but I cant make the friggin thing work. it requires a .exe file to lock out, and after a lot of cussing and hair pulling I finally found the .exe for Your Phone. I put said file in the app locker and..... SFA happens. I can still open the app without a password. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? I'm not very tech savvy if you havent figured that out already, so you may have to dumb your responses down a bit for me.
