Windows 10: Lockscreen gets blue ribbon picture instead of random landscape pictures

What happened to the lockscreen / login screen background pictures in Windows 11? It was working fine until the past couple of days, now all I get is the boring blue ribbon background picture. I tried everything I could find in several hours in Windows fix forums. My personalized lockscreen is set to Windows Spotlight, as instructed. But when I go to the lockscreen_0 folder, it shows that blue ribbon picture instead of a landscape photo. It's not getting the random landscape photos by default. What's wrong?

Is there any way of switching off the tiresome stream of different screen pictures that Microsoft keeps presenting us with, asking us whether we like them or not?

A few months ago, when the first landscape picture appeared, I was given a choice of selecting "I want more" or "not a fan". Various other photos appeared, and I clicked the appropriate choice for those too. I assumed that eventually there would be some
stability, and that photos for which I had selected "I want more" (the landscape ones) would recur, and that the ones for which I had selected "not a fan" would not. Instead, months later, there is a never-ending stream of random photos, with no evidence that
the system is 'learning' from selections that I have made. Obviously this isn't a problem as such; it's just a minor irritant.

Basically I just want Windows to supply basic functionality, not gimmicks, and I'm tired of returning to my computer and finding that for the 300th time I'm being presented with a random picture and being asked whether I like it or not, knowing that my answer
will be ignored anyway.

 

Find Lockscreen Picture Location

I have a picture set as my lockscreen in Windows 10 but something happened and the file was deleted.

The picture is still set as my lockscreen though. Is there a way I can recover the photo?

 

Wrong Picture On Lockscreen

Hi all, I have put Christmas pictures on my wife's computer (Same spec as mine). She wanted both the lock screen and the desktop pictures to change daily. I accomplished that alright but when the computer boots to the place where it wants the password input instead of a Christmas pic it shows the generic windows pic (which I have included below). Is there any way to make it just show the Christmas pictures from the lock screen into desktop? Thanks in advance. CC
