Lockscreen user list - grey key icons duplicating user accounts

    Hello,

On my new W10 machine (which is part of a domain) there are multiple sign-in buttons for the same account.
First a profile picture with user name, followed by key icons with the word password behind it.
Both options lead to the same account.
    Simular to this picture:

Does anyone have a solution for this weird behaviour?
How to remove these key icons, with password behind it.
    Many thanks in advance

    :)

    Lockscreen settings not working anymore

I tried lterally everything i could find when searching for that problem (which seems to be known for windows 8 as well),

    including

    - deleting SystemData files,

    - replacing the corrupt web/Screen/img05.jpg,

    - registry tweaks to HKCU/.../LockScreen (including copying over the whole key from an new user account with functional lockscreen settings)

    with no success.

The only thing wich really works for me is creating an new user account, there the lockscreen settings work as they should.

However, the fact that it initially worked on my original account and suddenly stopped to do so for no apparent reason suggests that a new user account might only be a temporary workaround than a permanent solution as the problem might come back any time
    on that new account too.
