Discus and support Log In Access Issue in Windows Hello & Lockscreen to solve the problem; I am trying to log in to my old Toshiba Satellite to access documents off my user account.     Log In Access Issue


    I am trying to log in to my old Toshiba Satellite to access documents off my user account. I repeatedly get the "you can't sign in to your device right now. Go to account.live.com to fix the problem, or try the last password you used on this device. I know my password works for my Microsoft account, and I believe I changed it when I tried to fix this month's ago. I've tried turning off the wifi, using my on screen keyboard, attempting to restore default settings. I'm frustrated from going in circles alone and hoping someone can help me through this.

    So far I like it with just a few issues, and they are minor.

    • The name of the person who created the thread and the date is really lite and hard to read for me.
    • When you are logged in the thread titles are in bold and look great, but when you are logged out they are normal, and very hard to read. We have a lot of users that come, and do not login. So, I suggest changing it to where everything is bold if you are not logged in.

  3. Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


    I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

    Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
    We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
    I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
    Step 1:
    Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

    1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
    2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
    3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.
    Step 2:
    I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

    1. Go to Settings.
    2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
    3. Select add someone else on this PC.
    4. Enter a user name and hit next.
    5. Click on Finish.
    6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.
    Step 3:
    It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.

    As you are facing issues with privileges to access the local account, I suggest you to try the below and check if it helps.

    • Please be informed us the troubleshooting steps you have already tried.

    This issue might be due to some error in system settings.

    If you have not yet tried the below steps, I suggest you to perform and check if it helps.

    Step 1: I suggest you to log out from the current user account, restart the computer and log-in with the administrator account and check if you are able to access the local drivers.

    If the issue still persists,

    Step 2: I suggest you to place the computer in safe mode, try to log-in with administrator account and check if the issue persists.

    Try the above steps and reply to the post with an updated status of this issue, we will be happy to assist you further.
