Windows 10: Log in problems due to mistyped email address

Hi,I have a new laptop and stupidly i have managed to create an account with an email that doesnt exist, due to a typo. I have forgotten my password and am now unable to get logged in. Reset password only provides the option for the email that doesnt exist so i am now stuck and unable to proceed. I thought i could just reset the PC but there is no option for this available under Troubleshoot when i hold shift and click restart from the log in screen. I thought i might be able to boot up in safe mode and access an admin account but i am asked for a bitlocker key which i can only guess has

My mother's boyfriend is not computer savvy at all, and he mistyped Comcast (typed in Comcadst.net) in for his email address when he was setting up the new Windows 10 notebook computer he received for Christmas. He and my mom are down visiting for a couple
days and they've asked me for help. I cannot figure out how to bypass the login with the incorrect email account to enter in his correct Microsoft linked account into his computer so he can log in.

Microsoft accounts, the Windows operating system, and other Microsoft products include passwords for security. However, since you mistyped your email address, what we can do is to reset your PC to
regain access to your computer. We suggest that you visit this

Here is the step to remove that old email address.

Start typing an email address into the “To” field. As soon as you see the old email address being recommended as one of the potential candidates, use the down arrow key to scroll through the list of suggestions. Once you highlight the old email address, type the delete key. In many cases, this will actually remove the entry not only from the current list of suggestions but from future suggestions as well. You may even find that as you mouse over the drop-down list the highlighted item will have an “x” to explicitly allow you to delete it.

Just do this step and your good to go.
