Windows 10: Log ins

So I recently combined 2 accounts, my sons new email into an account with an email associated to myself. Ive managed to add his email to my account as an alias, make his email the primary and remove my email. Problem we are having is on his PC and trying to log into the account with his email. It says it doesn't exist but when you go to create a new account and use said email it says it already exists. When trying to log it into Xbox via PC it does the same thing. If i log into the account via web browser through live.account I have no issues signing into it. How do we fix this?

I figured that was what's happening to me, but since I know those are my log-ins and I don't seem to have any unusual activities on my account all should be good. Besides extensions is there any possible way Microsoft may spoof the log-ins to be Internet Explorer rated or no? As well, should I not worry about these spoofings since I know my account is safe?

Dear Microsoft community,

For quite sometime I've had multiple Internet Explorer log-ins even though I don't use it, its only used in my Windows 10 system. As I've seen in my sign-in activity however, the browser comes up as log-ins that are confirmed to be mine, but are labeled incorrectly. After talks with several Windows support members, this happens when I use my Windows PIN on my device or Internet Explorer shows up incorrectly since I have multiple extensions on my Firefox browser. As I've checked multiple times, my account has not been compromised, I use multi-factor authentication and have multiple ways to recover my account if need be, and have changed passwords when needed just in case. I'm just frustrated that these Internet Explorer log-ins happen when I don't even use the browser and know it was discontinued a few years ago.

Is there anyway to reduce the log-ins labeled Internet Explorer or no? Like I said I know it is integrated with systems in my Windows 10 device, but I don't use the browser nor am I aware of opening any such file on my device.
