I trying to logg in my account but my password doesn’t work

Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

To better assist you, I'd like to ask you the following.

1. May I know what's the domain (after the @sign) of your private email? Can you also confirm if this is a personal account or business email domain?
   
2. Can you confirm if you can sign in just fine to Your request has been blocked. This could be due to several reasons. with that account?
   
3. Were you able to setup this account before in Outlook on your Windows 10 PC or not at all?
   

Since your OneDrive app closes automatically as soon as you set up your account, let's try to troubleshoot the app first before we go any further. Here are some steps we can humbly suggest.

1. Unlink OneDrive from Your Computer: If there is an existing OneDrive account linked to your PC, make sure to unlink it first. Here are the steps.
   
   1. Click on the OneDrive cloud icon in your notification area to show the OneDrive pop-up.
      
   2. Select the OneDrive Help and Settings
      
      icon, then choose Settings.
      
   3. Go to the Account tab and select Unlink this PC.
      
2. Reset OneDrive:
   
   • To reset OneDrive, you can follow the step-by-step guide in this Microsoft article: Reset OneDrive - Microsoft Support
     
   • Restart your PC and you can set up OneDrive in this step.
     
3. Uninstall OneDrive. Making sure you have the latest and fresh installed OneDrive version, reinstalling OneDrive will help to ensure their is no corruption on your current installation. Below are the steps.
   
   1. Press Windows key + R on your keyboard to open the Run dialog box.
   
   2. Type appwiz.cpl and press Enter to open the Programs & Features window.
   
   3. Find "Microsoft OneDrive" in the list of installed programs and click on it.
   
   4. Click the "Uninstall" button at the top of the window and follow the instructions to uninstall the app.
   
   5. Once the app is uninstalled, restart your computer to apply the crash.
   
   6. Click this link to download the latest version of the OneDrive app.
   
   7. Install the app by following the prompts in the installation wizard.
   
4. Change your default Window browser.
   
   • OneDrive connection requires default browser on your Windows to connect to the OneDrive server. If there is an issue with the default browser, it may trigger with the authentication process.

If performing those steps doesn't help, consider performing the following.

1. Check Windows updates. Updated system version can cause problems with the apps functionality including OneDrive. Consider installing all Windows updates and try again. You can click this link to Check for Windows updates.
   
2. Add an Outlook.com alias on your account. Some emails may have compatibility issue with OneDrive app. You can try to assign an Outlook.com alias on your email and use it to sign in to Outlook app. An alias utilizes the same log in password with your original Microsoft account. Here are the steps.
   
   1. Go to Add an alias. Sign in to your Microsoft account, if prompted.
      
   2. Under Add an alias, do one of the following:
      
      • Create a new Outlook.com email address and add it as an alias.
        
      • Add an existing email address as an alias.
        
   3. Select Add alias.
      
      Notes:
      
      • You can't add an email address that's associated with a work or school account as an alias.
        
      • An alias or email address can only contain letters, numbers, dot (.), underscore (_) or dash/hyphen (-). Spaces and other special characters aren't allowed.
        
      • Existing Hotmail, Live, Outlook.com, and MSN addresses can't be added as aliases, and you can't add an alias that is already associated with another Microsoft account.
        
      • It isn't possible to create a new alias using @hotmail, @live.com, or @msn.com. If a Hotmail address is important to you, you need to sign out and create a new account.

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.
