Windows 10: Logged into office 365 with school account and my fingerpint and pin got deleted

I have windows 10 pro on my personal computer and I am logged in with my personal Microsoft account. not school account, while my office 365 subscription was provided by my school.


I have been using fingerprint and hello pin to log in. Yesterday outlook on my school account had some connectivity issues and I logged in Microsoft 365 again. Today when I turned on my computer, I cannot log in with fingerprint and can only sign in with my Microsoft account password.


After I logged in, I checked the settings of my computer and found out that "sign-in options" and "sync your settings" in "Accounts" are locked.

In "sign-in options", Windows hello pin and "use my sign-in info to automatically finish setting up my device after an update or restart" are blocked. A message showing "some of these settings are hidden or managed by your organization" is shown. While in "sync your settings", all options are locked and the message "Sync is not available for your account. Contact your system administrator to resolve this" is shown.


The problem still exists after I logged out office 365. How can I remove the organization settings from my computer?

Trouble changing PIN and signing into Office 365 Home Account

I am having trouble changing to log onto my laptop using a pin. When I try and change it under system settings, it asks for my Office 365 Work/School account email. but I don't have one. I have a home office 365 account, but can't enter it to change my pin.
Therefore I haven't been able to use a pin to logon to my laptop. Can anyone help?

Office 365 for students

Its possible you need to download the software install files from the schools website if you purchased it through the school.

• Please uninstall any Office trial versions on your device before installing Office 365 Education.
• Open the Microsoft Office 365 Web site.
• On the Office in education screen, enter your IT Account NetID, followed by <university email
  address> and click Get Started.
• Select I'm a student on the next page. You will be sent an email with instructions.
• Follow the steps in the email. It is recommended that you use the same password as you use for other
  University services.

 

Cannot log onto Office 365 or MS for Business account from Windows on Surface

I am the administrator of my Office 365 and trying to log onto Windows 10 on my Surface with the 365 account produces an error "That Microsoft account doesn't exist. Enter a different account or get a new one .. "

I am logged on to that PC as a local administrator and have my office 365 details in the School or Work account fields of Office, and 'Email & app account' and 'Access work or school fields' under Accounts in Windows Settings.

I get the error when I go to Accounts in Windows Settings, click on 'Sign in with a Microsoft Account instead'.
