Windows 10: Logging into Lenovo Laptop Issues.

My Lenovo Laptop Windows 11 if that helps is having problems at the Login Screen. I can't restart my computer, I've been looking online for fixes. I went into the bios and ran sfc /scannow and it says it repaired the corrupted files, but that I need to restart my computer. But I can't restart from the bios or the login screen, and I tried running Shutdown /r to restart, but it just tells me, "Shutdown isn't recognized as a command." I'm typing this from my phone, I need to reboot/restart my computer from the login screen. Not Factory Reset Background: This laptop has been having B

Fingerprint scaner does not work as expected in Lenovo laptop

What is the model of the Lenovo laptop wherein the fingerprint scanner does not work?

Since the issue involves working of the fingerprint scanner which came inbuilt with the Lenovo laptop, I would request you to contact the laptop manufacturer.

In the meanwhile you can execute the Hardware and devices troubleshooter and then check if it helps.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with the Bluetooth adapter. Refer these steps:

  Press Windows key + X, select

  Click on troubleshooting and click on the

2 laptops suddenly cannot log onto wifi.

Have 2 Win-10 laptops that were doing fine - Nighthawk R700P set up many months ago. Suddenly both cannot log onto wifi. Going to list of available networks, choosing "home" and disconnecting and then reconnect does not help. Suggestions? Not the greatest computer wizards here.

Lenovo laptop wanted latest Windows update; upon rebooting everything seems fine. Other machine is actually an HP all-o\in-one, not actual laptop - but Win10 anyway. Will check if update is needed.

Now HP is OK as well. Problem began there yesterday and on Lenovo today but now both seem OK. Curiouser & curiouser as Alice said; sorry to have taken up your time.
