Windows 10: Logging into Network Service Device on Windows 10

My computer has been really glitchy so I am returning it and exchanging it for the same model. We need to back up my computer so I don't lose all of my files, photos, etc. In order to save everything I need to log into my homes network storage device for Windows 10. Does anyone know how to do this?

windows 10 VERY slow when trying to open Devices & Printers?

Windows still has a MS-version of Bluetooth stack, and running BT services by default.
Didn't pay attention to the fact that you don't have a Bluetooth adapter.
Scratch my previous suggestion, and disable everything bluetooth-related in services. If that does not help - check network and sharing settings.
Devices and Printers manager also looks for network-attached multimedia devices (e.g. PCs with streaming service enabled) and network printers. If you by any chance changed network/homegroup settings on your additional PCs, then it could've affected the discovery speed on your computer. Still not sure how to fix it.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

UPDATE:

well as it turns out I found the solution, it wasn't a driver issue or a windows issues at all. what it turned out to be was by backup program was doing it.

Aomei backupper has an issue where it runs task scheduler on startup which "interrupts" windows and causes this delay before windows can continue loading the network device and log on to the internet.

the solution is below:

for users running AOMEI Backupper having slow to connect internet issues

if you find the computer is slow to connect to the internet (sometimes 40-45 seconds) then in order to fix this you need to hit ctrl+alt+del on your keyboard and open task manager, then click on the "services" tab at the bottom of the box and find "AOMEI backupper scheduler service" on the list and right click on it, then select "properties" and then disable it, click "apply" and "save" to fix the issue.

it took a long time to figure this thing out but as with most things its something very simple and basic, thanks to all who tried to help
