Windows 10: Loggining into Windows from different MS accounts

Hi,I have a laptop under an old MS account that I stopped using. I powered on the laptop after about 1 year. I am trying to login with both the old login and my current one ,but I am in loop of the system sending my one-time codes and me unable to login. How do I resolve this ? Thank you

Windows 10 Reinstall using different MS Account

I have reinstalled windows a couple different times (Reset, Recovery, and clean install) but every time I cannot activate - the Activation window is blank.

Could it be I am using a different MS Account for the reinstall? Checking my two MS accounts I see that this serial version of windows is now linked to both accounts (but it is NOT activated). Any suggestion on what to do? Do I need to disconnect the
serial from the old MS account so it can be activated using the new MS account?

loggin account changed by win10

So yesterday i logged into my microsoft account to access the win10 store.

All's fine till this morning.

I boot up and notice my computer login account has been changed to my microsoft account... ****

Now i was stuck more accurately locked out of my own computer cause i rarely use or remember my MS account password.

after 30 minutes and numerous reboots i was able to guess the password.

first order of business was to change my account back to the account I PICKED not the one MS thinks i should use.

Is this going to keep happening, having my win10 change my account credentials every time i use a MS loggin for win10 store ??.

 

Win10 Pro - Digital Activiation - Not Linked to MS Account

I've been doing some more swapping of OS on one of my machines recently, and checking my MS Account to see how it's list of devices behaves. The key step you may have missed out is to sign in to your MS account once you have the OS up and running. You don't have to sign in to the PC with your MS account, just signing into an app like the Store is sufficient. Seems that a 'device' is defined by the hardware ID or serial number of the PC, not the name your Windows uses for it. On recognising that it's the same machine but with a different name the existing entry in 'My devices' gets updated rather than appearing twice as separate devices.
