    Forgotten PIN and expired password

    Hi Dyari,

    Thanks for your answer.

    I tried steps of both links:

    • #1: reset PIN code
      • I see no link "reset your PIN"on login page --> I can't reset it
    • #2: change or reset windows password
      • My Windows account is not displayed at all on login page.
      • I am using a local account
    If you have any other suggestion, I would be more than happy to try.

    Hi,

    To better assist you with your concern on your PIN not being recognized, may we know the following information:

    • Which PIN are your referring to? Is it for your PC or for the Windows login?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far?
    • What is the exact error message? A screenshot will help.

    Windows doesn`t start. Authomatic repair doesn`t work.

    I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

    I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.
