Need urgent support on the Microsoft Store. I cant login, it always says

I bought a product that needs to be activated in the microsoft store so if I cant resolve this I have to return it to get my money back.

The error message 0x80070781 you received are possibly due to system files corruption or missing, hard disk errors or bad sectors, the file or directory is corrupted and unreadable.

In this case, we suggest running System file check. By doing so, the task will scan for changed or misplaced files. If sfc discovers that a protected file has been overwritten or corrupted, it retrieves the correct version of the file folder, and then replaces
the incorrect file. Kindly follow the steps provided by ZigZag3143 (MS -MVP) on this

Microsoft Store - Can't login 0x80070781.

Please read and understand what I am trying to do before providing answers that do not address the problem.

There is only one profile on this computer. It is a Microsoft account, not a local account.

I know what "control userpasswords2" is for. And that does not address my last question.

Ok ... listen please. Boot the machine. Login to the customers account ok. Open the store. Click on sign in. There are two accounts listed to choose from. My own personal account, which does login to the store just fine. And then the customers account. Which
the customers account does not login, it results in an error. Specifically 0x80070781.

Now .... since I tested the login with my own account, I verified the store works. But now, when you click sign in, it asks you to use one of these accounts. Mine or the customers. So it's obviously cached my login. How can I remove my login from that list??

I've already found it twice in the registry and removed the key(s) associated with my own account. Also removed my account details from "Windows Credentials". However, when opening the store and clicking sign in, my account is still listed as a choice, along
with the customers account. Somewhere this information is being stored. I want to know where, so I can remove my information.

 

0x80070781 error

I cannot sign in to the Microsoft Store because I receive an error 0x80070781. The troubleshooter detects sync error and also a root cause error.
