Windows 10: Login error - Windows 10

Hello.

I am cleaning my desktop to give it to a relative, and I did 2 things that now prevent me from logging in (don't know which one exactly triggered the problem):


- changed account name from mxxxxxxx to gxxxxxxx

- changed the account password by typing the old password and leaving the new one blank. I hit enter and the system didn't ask me to re-enter the new (blank) password, it just went back to the previous screen.


I restarted the computer and the screen showed the old account name ("mxxxxxxx") plus the message "Incorrect password. Try again" (I had not entered a password).


Following some instructions I found online I:


1) Shift-Restarted from the bottom-right menu

2) Chose Safe Mode with Command Prompt under Advanced Options

3) After a while, the command prompt appeared. All I had to do was restart the computer, but not knowing how to do this from the command prompt, I "force-shutdown" by pressing the power button for 10 seconds


When the computer restarted, a got a login screen for "Administrator"with the message "Your account has been disabled. please see your system administrator".


What can I do to fix this problem?

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Can't login to new computer w/Windows 10

  Are you able to login to Microsoft Account on Web?

  Have you installed any language pack?
  

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to select the appropriate language in login screen at the bottom right corner and check if it helps.

Steps 2: Use On-screen keyboard in the login screen to login and check if it helps.
