Login issue since updating to 20H2 - No password area, just a link

I updated to Windows 10 20H2 a few weeks back via the update assistant but haven't really been on the computer since. When I booted today it was extremely slow at loading and then at login, and I noticed the login area had changed.

I have 2 accounts, one I don't use anymore, and my main one. Clicking on the old one, the password box is there, but clicking on my main one, I get a link. It took me a few clicks originally because it tried to do something then took me back to the login screen. Now it brings up a box and asks me to login, and then asks me to setup a pin which I close.

I have found a video which shows the first part right although not the box that appears

Is this an issue or has microsoft changed something? I just want the login box back so I can type my password and login without having to wait. I heard it may be due to Windows Hello but I have that disabled I believe. There is an option that looks like it is enabled but it is greyed out "for improved security only allow windows hello sign in for microsoft accounts on this device" but also says setup windows hello to change the option. I did look at a guide that told me run GPEDIT.MSC and disable the pin thing but I couldn't see the option in the place the guide said it was.

Anyone else experienced this and know how to change this?

    :)

  2. Password issue

After going through the steps to make a new password, after a week or two, my login credentials are no longer valid. I'm forced to make a new password all over again. It seems to happen if I don't login in a certain period of time. Does our passwords expire???
