I can't log in to my pc.. it says " Your device is offline, try a different sign in method ".. so i watched some video on youtube that says " press shift and restart in safe mode ".. i done that.. then in safe mode it says that your credentials could not be verified and then says " Something went wrong and your PIN isn't available status: oxc000006d substatus: 0x0 . Restart your device if it could fix your problem.Actually earlier before shutdown, i downloaded a game from internet.. it says me to disable windows security before installing. I done that, the game had 2 exe files that forcefu

Your device is offline, try a different sign in method

My computer recently didn't need the internet to log in with PIN but now it's asking for my Microsoft account password.

When I enter my PIN, it tells me that the device is offline, use a different sign in method.

I haven't changed my password for years, so when I tried to enter my password, it stated something like try again with the previous password.

I reset my password, no luck.

I am on vacation, so I have to use public wifi, unfortunately, the public wifi needs me to open a log in page, which means I cannot connect to the internet without logging in to the computer, but without the internet I cannot log in to the computer.

Any way to fix this without a factory reset? I have important files on this computer and need to use my computer.

OSK PIN login on non-touch device

I suggest you to create a PIN for your device and try the on screen keyboard to login to the same.

You may follow the steps below to create PIN protection for your device.
