Login Screen No Password Field Nor User Name and Image

I am running Windows 10 21H2. On the initial login screen there are no fields to enter my pin or password. The only items that show up are the time, date and the Network and Power icons. If I then press any button on my keyboard the login screen appears as expected, with my picture, user name, the field for pin/password and in the bottom right corner the icons for the language, network, accessibility and power. If I don't enter my PIN and do nothing for a while, the screen reverts back to its "bare" version with just the time, date and the Network and Power icons no user picture, name and the

  2. Windows 10 Lock screen - "Other user" option missing User name and Password fields

This is seen on domain joined Windows 10 Enterprise 2016 LTSB

Under some circumstances clicking the "Other user" option at the lock screen with a user logged in will not display the User name and Password fields. Using tab and enter to select the current user then "Other user" will make them display. Has anybody else
    seen this issue?

Full repo instructions. There may be a quicker way to get into this state, but this is consistent:

    • Have User1 logged in
    • Lock the screen
    • Enter an empty password 6 times for User1
    • Windows will display "Welcome..." message for a few seconds, then "The password is incorrect. Try again."
    • Clicking ok will go to the "Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to unlock" screen
    • Click "Other user"
    • Username and Password fields are missing
To get out of this state:

    • Press Tab untill User1 is highlighted
    • Press Enter
    • Press Tab until "Other user" is highlighted
    • Press Enter
    • User name and Password fields are now displayed

    No login password craziness

Brink, that was the missing step. What threw me off was in netplwiz, where it asks about password for my MS account, the user name was not the same as my MS account name. Once I entered the password (twice) I can now login without entering a password. In fact the name that was listed was not the MS account name, but a folder name. The folder is the one that shows when you click on C:\Users.
    Thanks for the help.

Login Screen No Password Field Nor User Name and Image

Unknown user account at windows 10 login screen

I have the same issue but I have 11 users and now on the log in screen I have 11 user names and 11 of the "password" with the "key" next to them. So, that's 22 logins on the lock screen. The "password" logins are actually the users. I am trying to get rid
of the "password" tabs so only my user names show on the login screen. I checked for the registry folder you mentioned and it is not in the list.

    Any other suggestions?
