  2. Windows 10 lock screen and login screen own picture

    Hi,

No-no-no. You misunderstand. I have a win32 program called Webshots, which manage wallpapers and it's rotates (change randomly to a new wallpaper and put it out to the background). At wallpaper it works, there's nothing to do here. After X time it will put
a new picture to the wallpaper. And I want to sync my login and lock screen's picture with my wallpaper picture. So - by the logic - I know where this program put the current wallpaper image, so I browsed it under the 'Images', than I set it on as login and
lock screen image. Because the Webshots program change that file after X time, it needs to be in sync my login and lock screen with my wallpaper. But currently it seems the windows saves the selected picture somewhere and it loads from there, this is why it
shows always the old version (which was set manually).

  6. I could not make those instructions work, either. Could you share how you made it work, burrina?

    This is easier:

Create a new folder on your desktop, name it Pics,
paste the following code into an Administrative Power Shell and press Enter,
wait for the command to finish then close the Power Shell, check inside the created Pics folder.

Code: Get-ChildItem -Path $env:localappdata\Packages\Microsoft.Windows.ContentDeliveryManager_cw5n1h2txyewy\LocalState\Assets | Copy-Item -dest {"$home\desktop\pics\" + $_.BaseName + ($i++) +".jpg" }[/quote] Copy the ones you wish to keep to your Wallpaper folder, rename them and delete the rest.
You can repeat this process from time to time if you see new Spotlight Lock Screen images appear on your machine.

(Props to @CmdrKeene and others for this trick)

  10. Okay, I got a bunch of pictures (none of which I can see are the lock screen photos), but a bunch of them will not open. The window shows the file number and then says We can't open this file.
