Windows 10: Login to Microsoft Store under a different Windows user account but PIN keeps incorrect....

If I sign in to my personal Windows user account and login to Microsoft Store with putting the right PIN keys, seems perfectly fine no issues at all.Bu,t when I sign in into my brother's alternative Windows user account and login to Microsoft Store thru there and putting my PIN keys, it keeps saying incorrect several time. I don't quite understand so I cannot login to Microsoft Store under my brother's Windows user accountwhat seems to be the issue and what should I do first?

I understand how difficult it can be when the computer does not work the way it is supposed to. As per the post, you want to login without any password/pin. In that scenario you need to use a local account with administrative permission.
If you are using the Microsoft account then it will definitely ask for either password or pin for sure, as per design.

Using a local account (without Microsoft account) will resolve your issue but some programs will require Microsoft account (example Microsoft Store), in that scenario you need to sign in with your Microsoft account for that particular
app.

Please login to the current user account using the pin and then create a local user account. Follow the steps as mentioned in

Create a local user account on Windows 10 article. In the 3rd step from the article do not enter the password and password hint, then create the local account.

If you want you can convert the existing account to local account. Please follow the steps as given below.

1. Press Windows + I from the keyboard. Click on
   Accounts.
   
2. Click on Your Info from the left pane. Select on
   Sign in with a local account instead.
   
3. Enter the Microsoft account password you use when you created the account. Click
   Next.

Microsoft Account PIN and password

We appreciate the screenshot that you provided. to start troubleshooting the issue with you logins, we suggest that you follow the steps below on how login pin goes back to password:

• Click Start menu and go to Settings.
• In Settings, click the Accounts icon.
• Click on Sign-in options.
• Change both your password and pin one by one.

Let us know how it goes.

 

Can still login with Microsoft Account using PIN when Microsoft Account has been removed

I'm trying to remove a Microsoft Account from my Windows 11 Pro installation. I created a local user, changed to an Administrator, then logged in with that user and removed the Microsoft Account.

However, when I restart, I still see the Microsoft Account in the list of users, and I can still log in using the PIN.

I went in as the local Administrator and disabled PIN as a login option, but I can still login in as the Microsoft Account with it's PIN. When I check the accounts with the local administrator, no Microsoft Account is listed.

I'd really like to have this user completely gone and unable to log in to the PC.
