Windows 10: Login to Microsoft

Can I remove my account from Microsoft and not have to login to run Windows 10. I don't see any reason to login to Microsoft every time I start my PC.

Unable to login to my Microsoft login account in Windows

Hi I have a very similar problem and this is the second time it has happened to me so it is not an input error.

I have signed in to my Windows Live account as it wants me to upgrade to a later version of Notes. During the process is asks me if I wish to use my Live password for my Windows logon which I accepted.

Now whatever I do with my Windows laptop I am unable to log on with the Live password or my previous one as for the previous user - incubus.

I can still log in to the Live account from another machine, can track my laptop (which is still sitting next to me locked on the desk) and can access files on that laptop by adding the new password that I have asked Live to synchronise. All very strange!

There must be something Windows Live is doing to corrupt the user Windows user account on the laptop or perhaps it is changing the username in some way?

Please can MSoft look into this as judging by the number of similar questions on the support pages this is not an unusual situation.

Last time (6 months ago) to overcome the problem, I hacked my laptop and had to create a complete new user account and use admin to copy across the previous user files which had been locked. Not very satisfactory.

I am using a Dell Inspiron laptop with Windows 10. I am completely locked out of my computer. When I try to sign in with the password I have always used, I get the message "That password in incorrect. Make sure you are using the password for your Microsoft
account". So, I use the MS password and I get the message "Your device is offline. Please sign in with the last password used on this device." And, so it goes back and forth. I know both passwords are correct. I even tried going to my MS account and changing the
password but that did not help.

Can anyone help me before I get so frustrated I buy an Apple.
