Note also that, for troubleshooting, I removed then recreated the sharing of C: . Did not help.

Workgroup peer-to-peer: impossible to log in just to one PC of the LAN

Hello,

I'm the tech lead of a multimedia lab in a high school. After having joined in a peer-to-peer workgroup (workgroup is the name of the group) fourteen computers running windows 10 1909 with the same hardware and shared two folders on them, I may access any of them from any other and see those folders but one PC.
It is impossible to log in to it; it displays an error message related to wrong credentials.
I've checked its shared options and are ok as the other PC on the LAN.









The same credentials work fine when used on the PC itself!

I don't know what maybe the reason why that issue is occurring.

Good LAN party games?

Most of my suggestions have already been listed.

However, I found Swat4 to actually be a pretty fun LAN game, especially at smaller LAN parties.

As you are unable to access the connected computer on Peer-to Peer connection, we will help you with this issue.

Step 1: Make sure that Password Protected Sharing is turned off
on your computer and check if it helps.

Steps to follow:

  OpenControl Panel window
  
• 
  Select Network and Sharing Center
  
• 
  Select Advanced sharing settings
  
• 
  Under Password Protected Sharing, check mark
  Turn off Password Protected Sharing
  

Step 2: I suggest you to disable firewall and anti-virus installed on your computer and check if it helps.
