Windows 10: Logins just stop working?

Been trying to connect to remote computer for hours and it will not let me. Keeps saying pin is wrong which it is not, can not even use email or password. It refuses to let me sign in and I have done this so many times. Pin refuses to work. I go to the other computer and the pin works, go back to this computer, pin will not work.Now also hyper-v stopped working.

touchpad stops working after login

Hi thanks for the reply.

I did check the driver was up to date in device manager as suggested. I read that article and one of the suggestions was to boot up in safe mode. This confirms the touchpad drivers are up to date and there is no problem with the hardware.

The touchpad also works ok when the laptop initially boots up to the login screen. It just stops working as soon as Windows opens up after login

What is stopping the touchpad from working after login???

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to select the appropriate language in login screen at the bottom right corner and check if it helps.

Steps 2: Use On-screen keyboard in the login screen to login and check if it helps.

Ways to bypass the login theme and signin do not work

Tried setting netplwiz in option 1 step 4 which shows no check in users must enter ..... no bypass of login

Tried step 4 in option 5 below to disable require sign-on on wakeup via policy via registry but still no change on wakeup still getting the screen picture that requires hitting Esc to move to the sign in window which shows a silhouette image, my user name and a sign in button in order to access my desktop screen. Guess I will have to live with the extra steps.
