Windows 10: Logitech C922x Pro Stream Webcam Not Recognized in Windows 10

When I plug this camera into any other Windows machine it works as expected, but for some reason the device driver doesn't recognize it at all in my primary workstation. I tried different USB ports, rebooting, installing the different Logitech software. Nothing I've tried so far works. Has anyone seen this issue anywhere before?

Connecting your Logitech C922 Pro Stream Webcam using Windows 10

• Plug in your webcam to a USB port on your computer. Using a USB extension cable or a hub device may hamper your connection.
• Open “Settings” on your computer
• Select “Gaming”
• Select “Broadcasting”
• Choose your desired settings for “Broadcast audio”
• Go down to “Camera”
• Turn on “Use camera when I broadcast”
• The name of your camera should show. If you have other devices connected, use the down arrow to select your webcam.
• Click on “Test Camera”

My camera turned on right away.

This fix worked for me, but no guarantees for everyone.

 

Logitech C922 Pro Stream Webcam Wont Work

logitech does not provide drivers for the c922 pro stream webcam, they say that the webcam will work on windows drivers

I followed the listed steps and the webcam is performing properly and is recognized by Windows 10, I checked software and driver updates on the Logitech site and the Logitech utility states the software and driver are up to date and working properly. The
only issue I have is with Windows 10 Updates trying to update the Logitech software/drivers in the recent update and that update is throwing the Ox800f0203 error and continues to does so after all of the suggested solutions. Which puzzles me since the Logitech
hardware/software/driver is working properly.
